Embroidered Bamboo and Birds Scroll

Antique embroidered scroll from Korea depicting birds perched in bamboo with blossoms and a verse in classical Chinese characters, and embellished with 1 embroidered seal and 2 stamped seals.  Coloured silk thread on silk.  Handsomely mounted on patterned green silk-paper, suspended by string, and anchored by a solid wood rod with rounded ends. 

Exact age unknown, but almost certainly early 20th century.  Some minor fading and discoloration that is consistent with the age of the piece.   

Dimensions: height 166cm (just over 66"); width 47cm ( just over 18"); length of rod 56cm (a little over 22"). All measurements are approximate.
