Embroidered Floral Scroll

Antique embroidered scroll from Korea depicting red and pink blossoms with a brief verse in classical Chinese characters, and embellished with 2 seals.  Coloured silk thread on silk.  Handsomely mounted on patterned yellow silk-paper, suspended by string, and anchored by a solid wood rod with rounded ends.

Exact age unknown, but almost certainly early 20th century.  Some minor fading and discoloration that is consistent with the age of the piece. 

Dimensions: height 165cm (a shade under 65"); width 50cm (a little over 19"); length of rod 60cm (about 23.5").  All measurements are approximate.
